Pitso Mosimane is celebrated as one of the most accomplished African football players and coaches of the 20th & 21st centuries.
Building on a career spanning decades and across multiple continents, in 2022 he embarked on his next endeavour to change the game (of football), for good by creating Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools in Johannesburg, South Africa.
With a focus on the development of youth football across Africa and the mission to Create the Player of Tomorrow, Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools (PMSS) and its key partners will help guide and grow young footballers to be technically, intellectually and socially equipped to succeed and excel in the rigorous, competitive world of professional football.
In doing so, we will realise Africa’s football potential by developing excellence.
The PMSS programmes have been developed by Pitso Mosimane in conjunction with federation accredited football coaches (global federations). The programmes draw upon Coach Pitso’s decades of experience and coaching football at the highest level.
The programmes are facilitated by locally-based PMSS coaches trained in First Aid and child protection (facilitated by Women and Men Against Child Abuse – WMACA).
In addition to nurturing players’ football prowess and playing abilities, PMSS curricula incorporate a range of life and social skill development content aimed at enabling players’ lives beyond football.
