At Pitso Mosimane Youth Football (PMYF), we are proud to not only develop the next generation of footballers, but also to support the growth and success of the coaches who lead them. This month, we celebrate two of our dedicated coaches for reaching major milestones in their personal and professional journeys.
Coach Keratilwe Hika recently graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a Diploma in Sports Management. His achievement reflects a commitment to building knowledge beyond the pitch and equipping himself with the tools to support the holistic development of young athletes. Coach Keratilwe continues to be a valuable member of our coaching team at Curro Wilgeheuwel, inspiring players with both his passion and professionalism.
🏆 Coach Mahlatsi Mabusela, another standout in our coaching family, has successfully obtained his CAF B License. This qualification is a significant step forward in his coaching career and a testament to his dedication to growing within the game. The CAF B License enhances his technical and tactical knowledge, positioning him to contribute even more meaningfully to the quality of football education at PMYF. Coach Mahlatsi’s journey with PMYF began in 2023 as one of the first Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools (PMSS) coaches, based at Meridian Cosmo City. Through his hard work, consistency, and leadership, he has grown into a key leader in the programme — now serving as a Coach Coordinator at Curro Wilgeheuwel.
These achievements speak directly to the mission of Pitso Mosimane Coaching Education, a key pillar of PMYF dedicated to empowering grassroots and youth coaches through accredited courses, workshops, and ongoing development. Both Coach Keratilwe and Coach Mahlatsi exemplify the calibre of leadership we aim to foster — leaders who are not only passionate about football but committed to lifelong learning.
